Answer:	I installed this switch myself on a circuit for outside lights that has one other switch. The electrician did not label the wires correctly in my circuit box but I was able to figure out the correct orientation of the wires. When installed correctly the other switch should work.

Answer:	as the previous answer suggests this switch is merely monitoring the traveler wire for a change of state (CoS). it already knows what it's internal state is, and when it detects a CoS on the traveler it knows to switch its internal state.traditional 3-way switches are mechanical in nature so both switches must be 3-way and wired correctly for this logical (On-Off, A-B, 0-1) circuit to function properly. because this switch is electronic the 2nd switch can be a simple 2-way switch (as seen in the instructions for New Construction). the jumper simply ensures continuous power is fed to the timer switch (for proper timer functionality) on a circuit that is using a 3-way switch as it's paired switch (as seen in the instructions for Existing Circuit/Old Construction)

Answer:	It’s hard to see in the listing. I did find one picture that showed the actual switch. The switch has a pigtail on it with a plug on the end. So it doesn’t sit against the wall or come straight out. The switch does have a mounting hole on it so you could mount it on the wall, next to the outlet if you wanted. I hope this helps.
