| Answer: | Yes. September 2020 and this is still a problem. I can never locate my phone with my key tag because of this. I have set the app to be able to locate on the background. In phone settings I have set it to 'never sleep'. Samsung and tile just don't get along. However, finding all the other stuff I lost works just fine. Just re open the app. |

For $30./ year, if it helps me find just one item that got lost,(and had a Tile ), It would be worth every penny. |

| Question: | Is there any warning that your battery is getting low on the Tile Pro |
| Answer: | Nope. If you don't check them frequently you'll only find out your batteries are low when the app tells you the item hasn't checked in for a few days/weeks. That's the achilles heel for these things. When you actually lose something and need to use the app to find it- then it will tell you the batteries are dead. I'm buying a new set of keys and key fob today for my car because the battery died and I didn't realize it until my keys were lost. I paid for the 'premium' version to see my tracking history and looks like the battery has been dead for a month. I would have really liked a warning that the battery was low before then. I then found out 4 of my other tiles have dead batteries, but the battery replacement service is based on time and not actual battery life so I had to replace all those batteries on my own even when paying for the premium service. So unless you're checking the battery yourself every day you're out of luck when the battery dies. I bought 8 tiles total last year, pro and regular and only half of the batteries lasted a full year. I would replace them every 6 months on a high value item like car keys. |

I pressed the button on all the rest of the receivers, no sound. All 4 were DEAD after 7 to 8 weeks. These are the little disc / button batteries which are not cheap. I would never buy this item again. That's the problem; when you need it, the battery may be dead. I don't think you should have to change batteries every 7 to 8 weeks. I hope this helps you. NOTE: Maybe I have a bad unit / a lemon. If the JTD or Amazon would want to replace this one, I would be willing to try another one out. If the batteries would last longer, I would revise my comments. |

I started buying these for my grandson when he was one year old and never worried about them being a choking hazard. As time went on, I bought additional sets so he could start spelling words out (he is only 21 months now). He has known his entire alphabet and his numbers for many months and I attribute a lot of that to these letters and numbers. We do not use them in the bathtub but rather as an educational tool. He loves them, plays with them daily. |

I use my thumbs and first two fingers of both hands and bend the silver part towards the center of the circle. It will create a break and you side the two pieces apart. Once you get the hang of it you will find that they are quite handy things to have around the house. |
