Most automatic mechanical watches can be wound fully in this mode, but some brand not. Such as some of “Jaeger” etc.

2.counter-Clockwise Mode

2 minutes turning, 6 minutes resting and cycle repeats, spinning speed is about 8 turns in one minute, and about 2880 turns per day, In this mode, the watch will be wound at counter clockwise, and the winder works forever, you can keep the watches for long time. Most automatic mechanical watches can be wound fully in this mode. And If you watch can be only wound at this mode, please select this mode.

Note: If you watch can only be wound anti-clockwise, please do not choose this mode.

3.Clockwise + Counter-clockwise mode

Clockwise 2 minutes turning, 6 minutes resting then Counter-clockwise 2 minutes turning, 6 minutes resting and the cycle repeats, the speed is also about 8 turns in one minute, and about 2880 turns per day. It is an easy mode, you don't need to know how your watch has been wound, in this mode, the winder never stops. If you want to keep the watches for a long time, you can select this mode.

4.Non-Intermittent Clockwise + Counterclockwise Mode

Clockwise 5 minutes turning then counter-clockwise 5 minutes turning. This cycle will repeat for 3 hours then rest for 9 hours before beginning again (and about 2880 turns per day, clockwise 1440 turns, counter-clockwise 1440 turns).

This mode is a dream mode when you have a daily working schedule, start the watch winder at a right time, when you get back home, place the watch back to winder, and the watch will be fully wound within 3 hours. What is an automatic watch winder?

Watch winder is a device with an electrical motor which will automatically wind your watch when you are not wearing it. Automatic watches have a limited power reserve, so if you stop wearing them and winding them up, they will run down in two or three days. This depends on the watch brand and on movement (caliber) used.

When your watch stops, you must reset time and wind up your watch. If your watch has additional functions (like date, moon-phase display, perpetual calendar), their resetting may take up quite a lot of time and require certain skills. Answer:	Did not come with a power cord and I put batteries in it and it did not work either
