Answer:	Depends on the watch. If you have one with a comfortable power reserve, setting 1 or 2 is probably enough. I have an skx007 with a 7s26 movement that loses time so I keep it on #3.

Answer:	I have had mine for about 2 years. It stopped working about 18 months in. Nice, quality but the mechanisms/electronics no longer work.

Answer:	Base on my calculation, I timed it myself and each rotates takes roughly about 8 second on my unit. No way it is 5 second. that's pretty fast. Mode 1,2,3 are pretty much the same, rotate 2 minutes and rest for 6 minutes. let say 8 seconds per turn, 2 minutes (160 seconds) will be 15 turns and it rest for 6 minutes. Which means 15 turns in 8 minutes. One hour (60 minutes) will be 112.5 turns. So, in a day it will be 24 hours X 112.5 which is roughly 2700 turns. That is way too much according to the recommendation.. http://orbita.com/2010_web/NEW/Database-S.htm My Seiko needs about 500 - 950 TPD. Mode 4 is rotate for 3 hours and then rest for 9 hours. 3 hours (60 mins x 3) = 180 minutes. My unit is 7.5 turns per minute. That's insane 1350 turns in 3 hours. Way too much. I wish they could have done some research before setting these timers. What I end up doing was using a timer myself and set it to a maximum of 8 hour per day. Using Mode 3. CW and CCW. Turn for 2 minutes and Rest for 6. If my math is correct, 8 hours will give me about 900 turns. Will see how it goes. Hope this help..

Answer:	I have not tried that watch in particular, but the way watches are placed into it would make me think any watch that fits on a wrist will fit. The face area is quite large, and the holder is made of compressible foam, so you compress the foam and slip the closed band over it, face outward. So thickness should not matter (compresses in that dimension).

Answer:	I didn't count then number of rotations it does but it keeps my husband watches up to date and the hours doesn't lack as the other we had .

Answer:	I have had no issues with this
Question:	Can the turns per day be adjusted or its just 900 permanently
Answer:	You have to realize that this watchwinder will only wind at 900 TPD (times per day) either clockwise or counterclockwise. If you go Bidirectional, it will wind it 1,800 TPD. There are no other options. I have an Omega DeVille Prestige watch which Omega recommends 800 TPD in a Bidirectional setting. Therefore, I had to go with the Wolf Blake series which allows me to program the watchwinder between 300 and 1,200 TPD. Therefore, I can now set it at 400 TPD in the Bidirectional setting which gives me my 800 TPD. If you have a high end watch you need to find out from the manufacturer what they recommend for your particular watch. Watches have different movements which have different requirements. I found the answer for my watch on the Omega website under their FAQ (Frequently asked Question) section. Hope this helps.

Answer:	There is no settings for this. But the newer model stops automatically when the lid is opened. Older model does not. It's hit or miss which model you will receive though when ordered through Amazon.

Answer:	Absolutely - it will work for any automatic watch. I have owned two now - the first one ran for 4 years and finally gave up. For the price - these are really good winders - pretty quite too.
Question:	Will this work for a Rolex
Answer:	Under the felt on the bottom of the 31-402 watch winder there are 5 small screws: 2 at the front corners and 3 along the back edge of the unit. Carefully peel back the felt and remove the 5 screws with a Philips-head eyeglass screwdriver. Once you remove the bottom panel, you should see the motor and a circuit board. It is most likely the motor unit that has failed, unless you had a power surge. Remove the power cord running from the circuit board to the motor unit. Remove the 3 screws that secure the motor to the case. Then left the motor straight up. You should be able to swap the motor unit for a new one easily. Note: In my case, the 3-bladed rotor was stuck fast to the rotating platform. So I removed the 3-bladed rotor from my replacement motor and carefully slotted the new motor into place.
