Answer:	Yes, I recommend it for any age. Just make sure to REMOVE them when you go inside or on a clear surface, as they will be slippery on normal surfaces. ONLY for use in snow/ice.

Answer:	I wear a Women's size 8. The manufacturer sizing information on the box, says for U.S. Women's Size 8, get a SMALL YakTrax. I have KEEN winter boots,size 8 medium. Keen's winter boot have a substantial heavy sole. There is no way that I can stretch the YakTrax Size S onto the KEEN boots. A medium would fit (but I haven't tried yet). The YakTrax SMALL just barely fits over a pair of "fashionable" winter boots, size 8, that have a dainty-sized,or thin sole. I suggest that you take your boots into a store and fit the YakTrax on before purchasing. If the stretch is too tight, you'll know right away (it'll strip off your nail polish and split a nail or two attempting). Be careful during the stretch 'cause it's like a sling shot! It can take an eye out! :) You want a YakTrax size that's easy enough to take off when you go indoors because on stone floors, these are slippery and on carpet, they will rip up the carpet. The manufacturer sizing information is misleading.

Answer:	I had a hard time telling left from right, and then I figured out that since they are completely rubbery, you can put them on either foot. I needed to use them, so I did it this way, and found that I don't really need to pay attention to which one might be left or right - they work for both.

Answer:	They come with 2 spare spikes in the package. I haven't had to look for new ones. I don't really know. I would assume amazon.

Answer:	Get the large, they stretch well over work boots, just have to pull to fit. The rubber ring is well made, I have had no issues with mine and I use them on both shoes and snow boots.

Answer:	I'm sure they could. I will tell you though that I am a school bus driver and we are required to wear grippers in the bus yard. I bought these and they didn't last me 2 months. I only used them to walk on the pavement into work and across the icy bus lot. I was sorely disappointed when the rubber shredded and they literally fell apart.

Answer:	That's my same situation. I walk to work and the first stretch from my house is facing North & the woods, gravel road, then a very icy set of a couple blocks also on the North. The rest is always mixed. Some parts are completely clear so I have to walk on concrete a while. Intersections are icy so I can't risk taking them off. 3 years ago I fell and broke my wrist when one of my Yaktax broke and the coils got stuck on the gravel. The coil ones were the first kind I ever used and they wrre life savers. Needed to get a couple of pairs to make through the winter because they deteriorated quickly walking on sections of concrete. tried the cleat type and they were useless ad dulled quickly. This diamond grip are the best. Only one pair per winter. I replaced last year's because the rubber frame started to look a bit weak on some joints. They are good to be worn around the house while shoveling but not for a long walk. The new ones should make ot through the whole winter even with all the walking I do. I do not remove them from my boots to try to extend the life of the rubber. I change shoes when I get to work and put them upside down so they dry well. They can rust easily if you leave them wet on the ground.

Answer:	My wife wears size 8 1/2 shoes and boots so we wrongly assumed the women's size 5 through 9 crampons would fit. Not even close and we had to return the purchase. Best to go large.

Answer:	Yes! I used them on a long steep cobblestone driveway after an ice storm and they worked perfectly. Even on black ice you have 100% perfect traction.

Answer:	I also wear a narrow. There is an extra liner you can put in the shoe, and I add my orthotic to that. They fit me very well. If you don't wear an orthotic, I'd just go buy another foam shoe insert and insert it in the boot.

Answer:	I can wear a regular pair of socks, but I do not think two pair would be comfortable. I am a 11 M and that is the size I ordered. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I agree. I’m the same shoe size and I just received the large, but have now ordered an extra large. In the past, I’ve used YakTrax large and they ruined the shape of my yard shoes because the curve in the middle was so strong, it kept folding the shoe inward. These are better in that regard. These will be a hassle to get on your shoe unless it is off of your foot and or you are sitting down. I look forward to getting the larger size.
