CLEANING

Victorinox Swiss Army recommends washing all knives by hand. For best results, hand wash your knives with a soapy cloth and dry immediately.

Answer:	No, about 3/4's of the way. With this handle type, full tang is not important.
Question:	what angle is the blade for sharpening? 15 degrees or 20 degrees
Answer:	From what I could roughly measure (caliper and trigonometry), the original edge relief ("back bevel") is around 14 degrees in mine, and the blade is quite thin already at the start of the relief (0.44mm), so it is easy to go without a bevel+back bevel and sharpen at 15. You can however work with a microbevel at 20, quickly retouching between resharpenings.
Question:	Does this knife have enough knuckle clearance so you can dice on a cutting board as you would with a normal 8" chef knife
Answer:	I think that you would have to have very small hands to be able to have a full grip on the handle to have "knuckle clearance" when mincing. I have to grip the handle without my fingers going all the way around to mince using the rocking method. The blade width is much narrower than another 6 inch chef knife that I have that allows a full grip with knuckle clearance for mincing. That said, I think that you can mince just fine with this knife, but you will have to grip it a little differently.

Answer:	It's actually an 8 inch blade. They are advertising a 10 inch blade, but it's a bait and switch--you are getting the smaller (cheaper product). Like paying for an Acura and getting a Honda. I provided picture of the conflicting marking on the packaging (one saying 10 inch and a barcode for the 8 inch) and I submitted a picture of ruler measuring the blade, so buyers can see. It's a good knife, but buy it from a different seller who will send you what you are paying for.

Answer:	I have seen the same item in kitchen shops under Lamson name. I have no reason to believe it's cou territory. Quality is another matter, it is not quite to the standard or their knives. I found this true in the plastic handle. It melts easily. I recommend the walnut. I love mine as a lefty and have found no alternative brand or model. Even bought a walnut version for lefty daughter.
Question:	Should all LamsonSharp turners have their logo? I received mine, full tang, it says "high-carbon stainless steel" but no "LamsonSharp" name. Fake
Answer:	I would think all Lamson products would have their logo on them. I just purchased a 4”x9” turner with a walnut handle and the handle does not have a stamped logo. But, the SS bend right below the handle has their logo , USA, high carbon and the model number laser imprinted on it. I’d call Lamson directly and ask them if some of their products don’t have their logo for some reason. Also if I manufactured a product made in the USA, I’d be sure to advertise that on the product! Usually if someone needs to ask where it’s made, it’s from China...

Answer:	My husband bought two pair, I use mine more and I think they are great. I had major back surgery in March and worry about falling. These cleats are fabulous and they are comfortable to wear, I thought I'd feel bumps etc but the walk is pretty smooth. I have not used in deep snow but feel they would be fine. I leave them on my boots, ready to go. The cleats are sharp, be careful. I live in the country, lots of snow and icy roads where I walk my dog. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I had the same dilemma. You can see in the picture at what point the band attaches.( I will refer to the Velcro piece as the band and the spike piece as the strap.) Taking the Velcro band, place it under the spike strap then thread the Velcro band into its metal loop. At this point the band will be attached to one side of the strap. Thread the end of band around the other side of the strap closing the Velcro over on its self. Good luck.

Answer:	I wear a Women's size 8. The manufacturer sizing information on the box, says for U.S. Women's Size 8, get a SMALL YakTrax. I have KEEN winter boots,size 8 medium. Keen's winter boot have a substantial heavy sole. There is no way that I can stretch the YakTrax Size S onto the KEEN boots. A medium would fit (but I haven't tried yet). The YakTrax SMALL just barely fits over a pair of "fashionable" winter boots, size 8, that have a dainty-sized,or thin sole. I suggest that you take your boots into a store and fit the YakTrax on before purchasing. If the stretch is too tight, you'll know right away (it'll strip off your nail polish and split a nail or two attempting). Be careful during the stretch 'cause it's like a sling shot! It can take an eye out! :) You want a YakTrax size that's easy enough to take off when you go indoors because on stone floors, these are slippery and on carpet, they will rip up the carpet. Answer:	Hi Jennifer,Thank you for your question. It should be possible to drive while wearing the cleats over your shoes but we would strongly recommend against it. Having the cleats on would lessen the feeling and control that you have on the gas and break pedal. Also, since the cleats are not flat (they have the spikes), using them while driving could result in you slipping of the pedal and doing something you didn't want to do.Since they can be quickly pulled over your shoes/boots, we would recommend removing them before driving and then pulling them back on when you are ready to leave the car.I hope this helps. Answer:	Yes, they would create some noise but you should slip them off when you are not on snow or ice.
Question:	Does the metal studs creates noise when you are already inside an establishment or mall? Floors made of tiles
Answer:	I had a hard time telling left from right, and then I figured out that since they are completely rubbery, you can put them on either foot. I needed to use them, so I did it this way, and found that I don't really need to pay attention to which one might be left or right - they work for both.
