Answer:	I have had problems with three of the original seven p1210 model First Alert 10-year battery smoke detectors. I have contacted customer service twice and learned that the p1210 model number has been replaced by p710, the representative didn't say why but said they are the same model. I had purchased another First Alert 10-year battery smoke detector from Lowe's that had identical packaging to the p1210 however there was no model number on the package, I told this to the representative and he seemed surprised. The manual had p1210 on it.
Question:	How many prescriptions bottles will this hold
Answer:	No wiring at all, the battery provides 10 years of power. Once it's dead the battery cannot be replaced and you will have to replace the whole unit.

Answer:	This criminally defective time-waster lasted not even 4 months (from date of manf stamped on it). Then it started beeping so I sent it back. It has no wires, but makes baseless claims about having a 10 year battery inside. Save yourself!

2. After opening the password lock, you can start to change the password

3. When the holding lock is open, use a pen or other screwdriver to reach into the lock hole, there will be a feeling of elasticity, the amplitude is about 1-2mm, and then press it hard, and then turn the number scroll wheel to set the new one Password, note that the password should be aligned with the horizontal line below the lock

Answer:	1. Plastic safety tab should be intact, woven through numbered dials, and all three dials should be centered on zero = 000. 2. With safety tab still intact SLIDE square button away from numbered dials. This should result in release of latch into the open position. 3. Set Lock Combination - Vaultz® Combination Lock Instructions 1. Leave the latch in the open position. 2. Carefully cut and remove plastic safety tab 3. With latch still in the open position, SLIDE square button in towards numbered dials and HOLD it in this position. While holding the button, set each numbered dial one at a time. 4. Roll numbered dial down until you reach your desired 3 digit combination. Make sure the digits are centered across the middle of the lock assembly. 5. Now it is safe to release button 6. With latch still in the open position, scramble numbered dials by rolling them down off of your chosen combination code. At this time you should not be able to slide the square button away from the numbered dials (mimicking a locked latch). 7. Now, roll the numbered dials down and select your set combination digits/code. The square button should now easily slide away from the numbered dials (mimicking an unlocked latch). 8. At this time press latch down in to the closed position and begin the use of your new Vaultz® Security Storage Product. * Once you change the combination from 000 to your new number, you will be the only person that can open the box. Answer:	Even if you did secure it, a few hammer blows would knock it apart and cause the tiny assembly screws to strip until it came open at the seams. This is more about privacy than security and only from household members who aren't going to get medieval with it to get inside. I bought mine to ensure kids don't leave my kitchen tools and chef's knives out for my 100# dog to snatch off the counters and use as another chew toy - they just don't get putting stuff away when you use it, so they won't be using it.

The package says: 9 in x 7.25 in x 2.75 in or 22.8 cm x 18 cm x 7 cm.But that is the inside dimensions. If you include the handles and extended side edges then the length and width are: 12 1/2 inches long by 8 1/8 in wide. The lid adds about 2 1/2 inches to the height that includes the solid handle.I hope this helps.
