Answer:	There is a little give. I had to stretch the one I bought at the wrist (not the ribbing but just behind that part) as I like have the ability push my sleeves back up to my elbows. Answer:	I don't see why not. They are made from soft payable material like a plastic squeeze bulb is. Not made from the type of hard crinkly plastic like say a milk jug is. So the solvent should not eat through. Also the lid does seal well. Inside the lid there is a lip that seals on the inner edge of the bottle top. And the needle has a nice rubber tire like feel cap that fits the tip tightly and is push on. I am using my bottles with FP-10 gun oil and that itself is a solvent type oil that cleans , lubes, and protects. Hope this helps😉
