Answer:	My size 9(M) pair with a pair of gel insoles weigh about 4lb&7oz. They are 2-3oz lighter than my well worn (soles worn down considerably) 8.5E Red Wing 2414's. When I first got my Red Wings they were a lot heavier than my previous boots so I noticed their weight but my Carhartts don't seem heavy to me.

Answer:	I've only had mine for about 9 months and I have only worn them a few dozen times. They're comfortable and don't seem particulary in hot weather & my feet don't sweat in them. I think they'll last for years judging by the quality. Hope this helps you make a decision.

I bought a pair for my husband a few monthes ago, he is INSANELY hard on his work boots (and we normally buy much more expensive work boots for him) but these are holding up great and he absolutely loves them. Will these protect eyes from both debris and the sun?

Yes. Answer:	My husband has been wearing them for almost a year now, and other than the laces breaking, and being too wide, the liner is still intact.

Answer:	I don’t know the ounces, but they’re pretty light. Just to give you a heads up though the souls where falling apart from the day I received them and they just got worse with time. They used an adhesive that didn’t hold very well.

Answer:	Buying the same size as my son's shoe size has worked perfectly for him.

Answer:	This boot will be above the ankle for most wearers. It is not insulated, only waterproof. We do have insulated styles for more extreme cold conditions: CME8347, CMR8959, and CMC1259. Thank you

Question:	I work a desk job in an environment that can range from 32-70 degrees. Would these keep me comfortable throughout that temperature range
Answer:	Not the best for a desk job but perfect for that range of temperature
Question:	Are they water resistant
Answer:	They are waterproof. I'm a commercial flat roofer and I walk in 2-4 inches of water frequently. Have never had water get inside.
Question:	Do these have a removable insole
Answer:	Yes they do!
Question:	How are these in below freezing temps
Answer:	Not so good. These are not winter boots. I'm a commercial flat roofer in Michigan and I work year around. Below 15 degrees and my toes are cold but tolerable. Below 5 degrees and I have to change them out to my Cabelas Predators. Very tough boot though. I've beat them up hard all winter long and they barely feel broken in. I put 10 to 12 hours a day on them and I'm very happy. Buy the inserts/insoles and thank me later.
