Answer:	I use mine to Hike the national Parks and mountains carrying 40-50lbs of camera gear and water. These are military grade in my opinion and I love them. They are what I wear 95% of the time

Answer:	Yeah that's to bad. Going to make it more difficult to creep in the kitchen and take grandma out to steal her cookies! Had SEVERAL PAIRS of these boots. Best side zip boots I've had. Every single pair have been "squeaky " until they are broke in. PS they will not scuff off the smooth "squeaky " surface on basket ball courts, bowling alley or grandma's kitchen floor. If you can, take em out on the "paint ball" yard (if your that daring) and results will satisfy.

Answer:	They are moderately stiff but they are flexible still as they are meant to be an "all day" shoe.

Answer:	I'm sure you can. They just want to make sure your feet and ankle area are protected. The boots offer sufficient protection and are comfortable to wear.

Answer:	The waterproofing is perfect, the only way they get wet it through the top and a waterproof pants fixes that easy.

Answer:	No, I normally wear a size 12. Ordered a 12 and they were slightly big but still work. I have at least 1/2 inch of unfilled toe room. This does give me the option to wear thick socks for warmth but if you want a snug fit, order a 1/2 size down from your normal shoe size.

Answer:	My advice is to take a number larger (in your case No. 13) when it comes to driving a motorcycle for comfort. And when it's running, sneakers are always taken 12 in your case, because that's important to avoid joint injuries.

Answer:	They are not mesh, they are waterproof. They are not insulated. I wear them in the summer, feel more like sneakers than boots. For me these are cooler than mesh boots, as they don't allow the heat from the exhaust to blow in through the mesh, as these do not have mesh. They have soft sneaker like soles. Great for off the bike walking around.

Answer:	I bought based off the answer to this question. The real answer is NO. These are the opposite of water proof. I feel like they absorb water and keep your feet wet all day. You don't even need to step into a lot of water to notice it. A few drops and your foot is wet. Don't even dare to use them if it snows bc they aren't insulated either. So your toes will be wet and cold even with 2 pairs of socks. I've been an EMT for 10 years, gone through a lot of boots. These I will not recommend.

Answer:	I have to pass through walk-through detectors at least 6 times per shift, and they've never set it off. No metal eyelets, either, which can cause problems if the equipment is super-sensitive.

Answer:	The composite performs equally to steel toe boots and is more comfortable. I've had two pairs of these boots and have been very pleased with my purchases. The boots are lightweight but very sturdy and are used daily in difficult conditions. They perform better on steep terrain than any work boot I've had before.
