| Answer: | Yes, and no. They are not extreme cold boots. I was just outside in -3° with them. I had on wool socks that make the footwear irrelevant as long as I'm dry, though. I've worn them with compression socks in 30° degrees and was thankful that I wasn't having to stand in water, or spending protracted time in that shit. To contrast, I have a pair of boots that are rated to -40°. Where I live, it rarely gets below -10°, though. I haven't been able to wear them, yet, because they're so hot. These are not insulated like those, though. I wouldn't suggest these for working a full shift in subfreezing temperatures. For my job, I rarely get stuck out in the cold for more than an hour at a time. These are perfectly fine, with adequate socks, for that duration. |

| Answer: | You're going to want to sun dry them for several hours. Lets say it takes 6 after 3 hours put fabric softner sheets in the front like 2 or 3 each. Also it would be good to wash them. Let them sit in a bucket of warm water with some non damaging soap (use a old toothbrush to clean the nooks and crannies). This process takes 1.5 days one day to clean .5 to dry. |

| Answer: | It IS confusing. I generally wear a 7-1/2, but wear a size 5 UK/ size 7 US equivalent in Dr. Martens. I ordered these in what I thought was my correct size, but received a pair labeled Men's 5. They were uncomfortable and had to be returned. I'm not sure what to tell you. Order what you think is the correct size, and if not the right fit, they should be returnable. Good luck! |
