Answer:	The claim is that they will keep your feet warm to -40 degrees. I live in Southwest Michigan and the coldest its been this winter is -15 with the wind chill. Make sure that if you have a 1/2 size... to round up to the next size when ordering.

Answer:	If you look at the photos closely, you can see the Trace has fabric/elastic at the back top of the boot. I didn’t care for the way that fabric looked so am going to return them and try the summit boot, which looks like it has the leather-type material all the way up the boot.
