Answer:	Not as much as Merrell's and tends to run small. They come with a flat removeable insole which you could replace with a better one with arch support but they are $10-15 so may be better to buy a better boot.

Answer:	Not sure, I bought mine last year, they still look ok, but if you spend a lot of time outside in winter Temps 25 degrees or lower these are not the boot for you,not great for walking in the woods either , soles are pretty thin and you feel every stick or rocks you step on, ok for shoveling snow in the driveway.

Answer:	The lining covers the whole foot. It is a rather thick removable wool felt lining and I previously use the same boots in Alaska at -40 working the flight line at the airport.
