Answer:	The legs are just about 8 inches. It is not the sturdiest chair BUT decent for the cost if you aren’t rough on it. Looks nice. I am happy with the purchase but it is also in a room that doesn’t get high volume use and I don’t think it would be comfortable to sit on for long lengths of time but is a good resting chair. I use it as a meditation chair. I know it sounds like a mixed review but I guess it depends on how you plan to use it.
