I went to Wikipedia and found that there are 15 different species of eucalyptus trees of which Eucalyptus globulus is one and Eucalyptus radiata is another. Globulus is the Tasmanian Blue Gem and Radiata is Monterey Pine.There has been conjecture about toxicity. A child can be in deep trouble from poisoning by ingesting 4 to 5 mL of this.Our dogs are quite small, weighing from five pounds to eighteen pounds for the biggest of the six. Most weigh seven or eight pounds.I am indeed concerned about toxicity but it is being applied to their longish fur, not directly on to their skin, and certainly not to be internally ingested... and it has been added with the other oils, to a lot of water and placed in a spray bottle. I do not know if the accusations of an Australian study are accurate or flawed as a result of a study done on a water source leading to a town. Higher cancer rates, also scleroderma, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis...all which leads one to suspect autoimmune disorders caused by something triggering an overreaction from something possibly in the environment around the town, such as its drinking water supply. Espoma does make a Tree Tone, or you could use 10-10-10, an all around fertilizer if you don't require organic. That said, Holly Tone certainly will not harm your tree, and it is fertilizer. |

| Answer: | I apologize for this may not help you. I am a professional Landscaper and I use a professional Lesco fertilizer spreader. I cannot personally tell you what would be the best fertilizer spreader to apply the Espoma product with. I used the entire line of natural products from Espoma to treat a natural, organic lawn during the 2017 growing season and had wonderful results. | Answer: | Soil acidifiers are great for turning pink hydrangea blooms blue, but you’ve got to acidify the soil before the buds for next year form, so it may take two growing seasons of applying an acidifier before you see blue blooms. Be patient. ;) |
