Answer:	I am not sure what splashproof means. They do wrap around the face but do not seal at the edges.

Answer:	I don't do any indoor cycling. I do have a gravel bike that is mostly ridden on bike paths. I have 6 bikes and haven't been clipped in in over 3 yrs. That being said, this was my 1st pair of 5/10's. I've never felt so secure. Whatever rubber they use sticks almost as good as being clipped in. I'd highly recommend these.

Answer:	I don't think Five Ten are known for having the most breathable shoes. If you live in a really hot climate there are other options. If you are going to get these, might consider fabric ones without the dlx weatherproofing (the regular sleuths). If I shoe looks like it will run hot, your perception is likely correct. If you want a vented shoe from Five Ten the Freerider (not pro) has a mesh toe and more breathable materials.
