Answer:	Big kids
Question:	How can these be cleaned
Answer:	As I got these, I haven’t had the need to wash them. But I think that if I did, I would probably use a gentle wash, and let them air dry. Good thing is, the insole is removable.
Question:	Are these cheap materials? Is it smelly
Answer:	Fantastic product made up. No smelly, both of my kids loved them. I think this makes them so far so good!

Question:	Are the laces meant to be tied or simply for decoration under the velcro
Answer:	Just decoration. The Velcro strap is good. Typically Velcro shoes have the worst Velcro straps which prevent the shoe from being tight. This shoe has worked really well so far.
Question:	What size for a 1year old
Answer:	I think it depends how big your one year old is. My son (13 months) wears size 5, but we are about to transition to size 6. He's also tall though and has some big feet. If you measure your babes foot, there is a chart that I googled that has the shoe size for the length of their foot.
