Answer:	This boot comes with a wide toe box. I usually wear 4e in New Balance shoes and wear the wide width Merrill Moabs. I specifically went to a retailer for my first pair and the 10 regular fit my 10-4e foot like a glove (with a medium weight hiking sock). I ordered a second pair through Amazon and they fit the same. Answer:	Yes. I do that with my Keens all the time. I have always worn the Targhee but just bought these for the first time. The people who recommend the Merrell Chameleon and say these aren't "slip ons" don't understand what you are asking; I do. I just bought these and wore them for the first time yesterday. When getting ready for bed, I slipped them off in the closet and this morning I was able to slip them back on fine. I push my foot as far forward as I can get it before attempting to slip the heel down. Once they're on, I bump the toe and then the heel against the floor to even out my socks. These work fine.
Question:	The Keen website says these run a half size small and recommends ordering a half size larger. Is this true
Answer:	It does not open all the way to the toe. It opens clear to the top of the foot.

Answer:	I have a size 13 foot and usually wear a 13. These Keens fit just like the other Targhee's but better. So if you are a 13, I'd buy a 13. I ABSOLUTELY love these shoes!

Answer:	I usually were an E or EE width. This shoe is perfectly comfortable for me.

Answer:	These are a D width but I've found them to be the widest D boots that Keen makes. I've tried 10+ Keen shoes and boots and these have the widest toe box. If you buy them from Amazon make sure to check the Manufacture date. I've bough some new ones that were 3 years old and the glue holding the tread started coming apart in 4 months. Thankfully Keen replaced them for free. (I've owned 4 pair of these over the years and have loved these boots)

Question:	I'm going on a cruise, and want to know if these would be good for the slippery decks on cruise ships
Answer:	I live in the mountains in northern Colorado and I've worn (and worn out) Keen Targhee boots for many years. They're the most comfortable boots I've found. But they are not really waterproof. I would describe them as "water resistant". They work fine for awhile in heavy dew or an occasional step into a puddle that isn't too deep; but in drenched grass or continuous rain, my feet get soaking wet. I have tried wearing gators under my pant legs and over the Targhee's and that helps considerably - but my feet still get wet if I am hiking in wet conditions for several hours. I have a pair of Asolo boots with goretex that I wear in those conditions - but they aren't as comfortable.

Answer:	Assuming the heel is made to the same tolerance across the wide band of sizes of this shoe/boot, mine (size 14E) is around 1.5 to 1.75 (1-1/2" to 1-3/4") tall. And on a personal note, there are many perks with being shorter in life and don't let your height affect your outlook in life... Hope this helps you..

I have narrow feet, but wear large woolSocks most of the time and still have plenty of room in the footbed.Keens will stretch and conform to your foot as you wear them, even if they're a little snug at first.

The extra length puts the ball of my foot in the right place. I wear generic orthotics to save my feet (consider it, plantar facitutus sucks). Thin sock season? Put a thin Dr Scholls underneath. Ok...generic too.

Answer:	I used these to climb Quandary with a fresh dump of 24" of snow in a very wet spring. Yes, I got snow in my shoe as I sunk into extremely deep spots but it handled admirably and dried extremely quick. Very impressed that after such a long/wet/snowy hike that they dried and my feet showed no symptoms of being water logged or uncomfy. You can get those snow covers for boots and they fit these shoes just fine. Mine were the low cuts
