User questions & answers
Question: | I tried on a Muck in a size 9...my normal shoe size and they were way too small. I needed a ten. What about these |
Answer: | I wear 8 or 8.5 women's (I have wide feet, and some brands fit better half a size up). In men's I wear 6.5 or 7 - 7 is a lot more commonly available, and in most brands it fits well. Note that these are D width, as standard for men's shoes. If you have narrow feet, or fit well in women's standard size (B), these may be quite loose at heel and ball of foot even if they fit for length. |
Question: | i wear a 9 wide shoe. what size do i order for this boot |
Answer: | Although not particularly advertised to be non-slip, the sturdy tread does indeed seem to be very ideal as far as grip and traction are concerned. The Fur Traders530-265-8000 |
Question: | Do they come in wides |
Answer: | I am very happy with the fit. The ankle fits snugly (my ankles are bit thick), but is not uncomfortable - for a waterproof shoe that may be by design. After a month or so of wearing them, I have no complaints. |
Question: | Quality rating |
Answer: | China where else! |

Answer: | The sole is red. |
Question: | Would these boots work for skiing |
Answer: | No they are not ski boots. Burton makes a great toddler snowboard boot that would work well for the kids plastic skis that they can use soft boots with. |
Question: | How do these handle in the snow |
Answer: | We live in northern WI and I can confidently say these boots were terrible in the snow. The bottoms somehow pack with snow and create a super icy bottom. My daughter couldn’t walk anywhere in them if there was snow. It didn’t seem to matter if it was sticky/wet snow or fluffy/dry snow - same results every time. That said, we loved that they kept her feet dry and warm even in our cold temps! |

Question: | how easy are they to pull on and off |
Answer: | I have a women's 10 in a flowered style of their boot and I use a boot pull to remove them, (Women's work boots do not have a great sole tread) so I got a men's 10 in the Bog men's workman Work Rain Boot. The bogs mens work have a boot step on the back and they slip off very very easily ! They have room inside the ankle and I think that helps too. They also do not slip on wet barn stall mats or mud. One step I took last winter slipped and the next step held me up. They are great work boots. Also, The fact that they are heavy does not bother me as they are the warmest and most tread secure boots I have ever had. |
