Answer:	I found them NOT true to size. I wear a 7 to 7.5. Ordered an 8 and were too small. Had to return them. I have had two pairs previously over the years and didn't seem to have that problem.

Answer:	I’ve purchased 4 pairs of these boots in various colors. They’re wonderful boots and incredibly comfortable. My feet can bother me and I frequently just wear them around instead changing into my normal shoes. Personally, I don’t think you’ll need an insole.

Answer:	I am a 6.5 wide and have a high instep and the 7 fit perfect.

Answer:	I have HUGE calves, 18-19 in. These are LOOSE, which is crazy, even when I put them on over sweats or thick jeans. So you should be fine. I did go a size larger (I'm a size 10 but went to 11) to make sure about the width. I might have been okay with size 10, but they are maybe a bit tight over my instep. I haven't really needed them since I got them (of course), but I'm pretty sure they'll still be comfortable if I wear them with a couple pairs of socks.

Answer:	Environmental Liability Manager here. Due to the language of Prop 65, anybody can sue anybody over their product, so everybody in CA puts a prop 65 warning label on their products. This actually defeats the purpose of the legislation. This is a 'zero risk' model that is used in Europe. America uses a 'risk benefit' model, where a certain degree of risk is acceptable. I doubt the boots are dangerous. You get a much higher exposure of toxic chemicals when you pump your own gas.

Answer:	These are regular sized US measurements- very generous however to have room for thick socks. Definitely do not size up
