Answer:	I bought the "men's version" of this for my running shoes because my feet hurt. My feet don't hurt at all now. My understanding is that better foot support and heath relates up the legs to improve health. Past that, I don't know specifics. This product is now is on my #1 list.

Answer:	I don't think there's a difference, that was the color they had in my size.
