I have bunions on both sides of both feel but one that is particularly bad and these work decently for 12 be shifts in a hospital. |

| Answer: | It does have a wide toe box, but if you need a wide shoe, you might not get what you want. I ordered a pair of 14 wide, which turned out to be not too bad. I noted that a 14-X wide was available, so I ordered it. It turned out that sole to sole against the 14 wide, the soles were exactly the same size. However, it does appear that the uppers were slightly wider, and it gave me just enough extra room that I needed. However, the same sole size might just be for the larger sizes and in a smaller size the x-wide might actually have a wider sole than the wide. |

Because of the bunion I usually have to buy a wide in any shoe I wear for an extended time, but because New Balance seem to run wider than other brands I can wear a 9B all day without feeling any discomfort. | Answer: | No. These run smaller and I think narrower. I ordered 7.5 and had to return them for an 8.00. They were just as narrow as the smaller size so ordered wide. Once you get the correct fit, they are great. |

| Answer: | I bought this in a 9.5 wide and I have the same issues. They are very comfortable. My problem is that where the hammertoe is, it started to wear thru the shoe itself since it is very thin and porous. I think the inner liner slipped down with walking and where my toe is, it is wearing thru. This happened on my first wearing. Maybe I just got a defective pair but check closely before wearing. They are very cute on my feet and the peach color is very nice. |

With this New Balance shoe it's design to allow easy placement/room of orthotic without having to order a bigger size or a man's shoe. I highly recommend the shoe. I so wish New Balance would have a variety of colors to pick from....gray is not by first choice, but I overlooked color vs. comfort. I cannot completely answer your question if this is the best arch support tennis shoe, but for me it is with the condition I have. No more pain!!! |
