| Answer: | It really depends on your son's measurements as regards to height, waist, and how fast he is growing, as regards to getting the correct size. My son has been in Martial Arts and Xtreme Weapons, since 5 year's old (now 13 and skinny as a bean pole), and different companies slightly differ in their sizing of their uniforms. Adidas are pretty consistent in Quality, Comfort, and Fit. I do not recommend this uniform for JuJitsu as it is very light weight. I highly recommend going to an Adidas site to find his measurements for the Martial Arts Uniform. Without knowing his measurements and growth details, it'll be difficult to decide your son's correct size. Make sure you have a flexible measuring tape for sizing him up. Hope this helped. |

| Answer: | We are the same height and about the same weight and I wear a size 4. However I'm in Taekwondo and we don't wear the Black Dobok/Gi until we are a Black belt. Since you are a Blue Belt I would ask the Instructor at your Dojo if the Black Gi is ok. Either way if it isn't you can still hold on to it until youreach black Belt.
