I use Bick 1 Leather Cleaner.To stretch them, place a damp rag on the inside of the boot where it needs to be stretched until the leather is pretty moist but not so wet it soaks through to the outside of the boot (approximately 30 min depending on the dampness of the rag). Put them on after pulling out the rag and wear them dry. You may have to repeat this until the boots conform to your feet. Hope this helps! |

| Answer: | This particular boot is fairly close, running about a half size too big. (Meaning I have to buy a half size smaller than I wear). I typically wear a size 9 shoe, and in this boot, I had to have a 8.5B.Generally, Justin boots run large. If they are made in the USA, as this one is, they're about a half size too big. If they're made in China, they are a size and a half too big. My China made pair of Justins are a 7.5B. Hope this helps! |

| Answer: | The general answer to this question is, you will need to order one size smaller in a Justin boot than what you wear in regular shoes. In my case, not all shoes are the same. For instance, I wear a nine in Brooks running shoes, but in some dress shoes, I require a 9.5. In this boot, I wear an 8.5B. The 9B was quite large, but the 8.5B is perfect. If you're between a 9 - 9.5 and have an average width foot, I'd suggest an 8.5B. If you're a true 9.5 or upwards to a 10, perhaps you should try the 9. As an added bonus to your question, I'll add a review: I love this boot. I've been wearing Justin boots for 30 years and I've found the Bent Rail collection to be my favorite to date.I get complimented on them every single time I wear them. (And the other pair I have...) What's funny is, these are my "daily wears", (I only wear shoes if it's absolutely necessary. I am just a boots person.) and I wear my jeans over my boots. You can't even see the upper! So, kind as I am, I'll hike up my jeans so the person can see the entire boot. (You're welcome Justin Boots, for the free advertisement!) I think you can keep the light if you use a different type of oil but I have never tried. The last pair was my second pair and I really like the look and feel of the boot. |
