Answer:	Yes, we had the state geologist of Oregon confirm that this was a safe product to use. In addition, we tested them for compliance with Cal. Prop. 65 for being food safe, and they passed.

Answer:	No the glasses are clear. There is no print on them.
Question:	Does the stopper have plastic on it or just glass
Answer:	Those who have used vinegar and water to soak out the smell have better luck using apple cider rather than white vinegar. 2 parts very hot water to 1 part cider vinegar. Somehow the cider works better than white for this application. If the ice ball molds are silicone, baking at a low oven (around 200 degrees) for about 10 minutes has also been known to help. Answer:	I guess you could use it for anything, however, these are designed to provide only limited chilling for alcoholic beverages which require less of a chill. Iced coffee I believe would need ice cubes in order to achieve the full chilliness required.

Answer:	It is bpa free...I don't know about fda....the handle is made of a beautiful hard wood....i believe bottoms are silicone and made well, very non stick utensils. You must wash them by hand and i would not let them soak in standing water . I am very happy with them. Excelkent quality. I wish i could tell you more about the fda. They have a great inscription in the box that tells their story and exactly what they are made of. I read it and unfortunately i threw it away. Hope this helps.
