Answer:	The shirts are light and comfortable. Not sure about “tropic” but I live in LA and they work great for me.

Answer:	You buy them individually and can different colors. I can get cheaper T-shirts, but these feel GREAT!!

Answer:	After one wash in hot water, and using measuring tape for accuracy, the length shrank by 1.5 inches and the chest circumference by 1.5 inches. Safe to say that over time it will shrink 1.5 to 2 inches. I'm 5-9, have a 44 inch chest and 35 inch waist. the fit is perfect after washing. Since 44 inches is true "Large", the manufacturer made this shirt a bit oversized to allow for shrinkage. Yes, most people will wash in cold water. But the heat of a dryer will cause shrinkage over time anyway. So I used hot water to speed up the process.
