Answer:	I measured my husbands - it is about 9.75" wide and 8.75" high when I stretched it like it would go over the head - it went to 12 inches from the 9 3/4 inches. He really likes this and prefers it to the mask type thing that has straps over the ears. He wears it as a neck warmer and pulls it up over his nose when he has to be out in the cold air.
