Answer:	Yes it is pretty comfortable. However if you are bearded, it has to be maneuvered to fit properly. When exposing the entire face it can be pretty tight depending on your face shape.

Answer:	There is no real way to adjust the tightness of this balaclava. However, the cap and neck piece are actually two separate pieces attached to each other with three Velcro pieces. The cap also has three straps designed to attach to a safety helmet suspension system. This is a very nice feature. The material is thin but warm, and the fit is fairly snug on my 7 3/4" head. I like it myself.

Answer:	My size is 21 1/2" and a medium hat fits very loose. It doesn't blow off in a stiff breeze but it is quite loose so medium should be a good fit for you.

Answer:	I cut small square pieces of black velcro with adhesive backing. Put one on each side of where strap is sewn to ear flaps and then positioned on top of hat, removed backing on the other two pieces. I seldon put the flaps down and this keeps them fairly flat so it doesn't look like I'm wearing mickey mouse ears.

Answer:	I'm not sure what a break away chin strap is. These caps have a "clip" that allows you to tighten the cap under the chin so it remains on in wind and water. We loved these caps - they were perfect for protection against sunburn at the beach.

Answer:	It must be in reference to top to neck . I’m able to fold the excess and double up the fabric to my nose .. definitely enough to tuck under a coat. Keep in mind these are very light weight,thin and provide no filtration besides covering ur face as a mask perfect for under helmet or to play ninja ..
