Answer:	Yes it is pretty comfortable. However if you are bearded, it has to be maneuvered to fit properly. When exposing the entire face it can be pretty tight depending on your face shape.

Answer:	Yes the hat piece can be removed. It's got velcro to hold it to the face and neck part.

Answer:	Tops a cap bottom velcro in back. It has velcro tabs to hold top and bottom together. Completely cover neck. I use mine at work as well as riding. Highly recomend

Answer:	There is no real way to adjust the tightness of this balaclava. However, the cap and neck piece are actually two separate pieces attached to each other with three Velcro pieces. The cap also has three straps designed to attach to a safety helmet suspension system. This is a very nice feature. The material is thin but warm, and the fit is fairly snug on my 7 3/4" head. I like it myself.

I never had any moisture drip on me. The face cover is removable and partially rigid. It sets slightly away from your nose and mouth so moisture does not really collect anywhere. The sides of the face cover are cloth with some Velcro to fix it to the hood. I convoyed for an hour and 30 minutes while exposed out of the hatch of a track vehicle in South Korea this past December. The hood did an awesome job and didn't fog my goggles.
