Question:	Are these socks good for running? Are they thick enough to prevent blisters
Answer:	I have size 12 shoes. I ordered 12-15 size. When I got them there were no size markings on the pack anywhere!!! Fit tight!! I returned them.

If your calf is any larger than 12 inches, I'd guess you will find these uncomfortably tight.

Answer:	This sock is thicker than most brands, however, Thorlo does make a sock called the JMX in white and black. It has the thickest level of padding and has thousands of reviews. Answer:	I haven't noticed any shrinkage. As for size, I don't know. I wear a women's size 10 shoe and the large sock fits me fine. I don't know how much bigger it would need to be for a men's size 10. You may want to search for a men's sock instead of unisex.

Answer:	74% Polyester, 25% Nylon, 1% Elastic. Thorlo does not use cotton in our socks. Cotton will absorb and hold moisture, which leads to blistering. Cotton also pills, which leads to the socks wearing out too soon. Hope this helps you.

It is only one pair and I can only say that I bought them thinking I needed them for a gruelling hike (I heard stories from friends about blisters for weeks) but we were rained out and they are now far and away my favourite sock for walking/fitness. Question:	Are those good for summer time work boots like red wing
Answer:	I always wear a pair of thin nylon socks under a pair of heavier socks, when I wear my work boots. The Danish Endurance socks work well for me as the heavier socks. The Danish Endurance socks are not extremely thick and they are not scratchy, so they would be fine for summer.
Question:	I need socks that will dry overnight as I can only take a few and will be washing them daily. Will these work
Answer:	Probably, depending on humidity and wind conditions. Under normal use you will probably not need to wash these daily. I purchased these a year ago and I can get several days of hard wear out of a pair without then feeling or smelling funky if I hang them and let them air out for a few hours. These socks have shown very little wear and teqr after a year of use. Far from a “dumpster fire”.

Answer:	Get the smaller size. These are Euro sized and the US conversion on the chart is confusing. A size 42EU is size 9 US or 8.5 on some charts. I am a 9 US and a 42EU and the smaller size fits perfectly.

Answer:	If these socks are the Thorlos Mens Wgx Max Cushion Work Crew Socks, then, as the name indicates, they are maximum cushion socks (as defined by Thorlos). I have worn for many years the Thorlos Mens Xj Max Cushion Running Crew Socks (white with blue heels and toes). The cushions on "work crew" and "running" socks may be different or located in different sections of the socks. In any event, in my experience, Thorlos are the best cushioned socks.

Answer:	Whoops, answered too soon. I was looking at the black Max Work socks, which advertised "3-pair pack" (for ~$45), but, in hitting the button to answer the question, the topic shifted to the white socks, which are one pair for $12. Yes, they are expensive, but they are incredibly comfortable. They have varied over the years I've been buying them and sometimes, they haven't worn as well, but the design is always excellent and they are still my favorite socks, for business casual, walking, even working out, or dancing. If you inside them out before washing, they stay springy for years (I rotate them out a lot)
Question:	Is it true that "liquid fabric softeners critical to receive full benefit of the product design"? Fabric softener is highly toxic
Answer:	This is the advice on the Thorlo site for their running socks: Care instructions: For longer product life, maximum protection and comfort, wash and dry inside out (to fluff up the pads) using liquid fabric softener after each use (to lubricate the fibers for longer life). For optimal benefits, liquid fabric softeners are always recommended. Do Not Bleach. Wash Normal: 105F/40C. Dry Normal Medium. Do Not Dry Clean. Do Not Iron.
Question:	Is this just a single pair of socks? Seem a tad pricey if it is indeed just one pair
Answer:	Sometimes feet need a soft, non-binding sock. After years of white cotton socks for casual wear w/sneakers, we notice even the 'good ones' shrink and become uncomfortable. Not at all sorry that my husband tried Thorlo socks, first one pair and then multiples. They are padded where needed, very comfortable, do not cut circulation, and moisture wicks away from foot. He always wears shoes or slippers, so these do not get exceptionally dirty, which means I can wash them with permanent press clothing and dry on a lower heat than cotton socks. No shrinkage and good shaping remains. We wasted $$ on many pairs of cotton socks that were disappointing after six months or so. Will buy more of these soon!

Answer:	I would probably go with the 10-13. My Hubby wears an 11 and says they fit nicely. I don't know if they are comparable or not but I wear a size 8 in women's and purchased a size 9 to 12 in the women's Carhart socks and they are too big. There is a LOT of extra room in the heel.
