That means that whiles the bags don't meet the US qualifications to market themselves as "biodegradable", the EPI additives do help them break down in the presence of oxygen. So while the bag won't break down in an environment like a a garbage dump, where it buried under piles of garbage, it would break down in a month or two if it were to find itself sitting outside in the sun. | Answer: | The bags that we received expired in about 5-6 weeks from the day we received therm. So if you order 40 bags and usually go threw that amount in 6 weeks you are OK. |
