Answer:	Here are the cleaning instructions for all of our bags: DO NOT WASH IN A WASHING MACHINE. To Clean Nylon Woven Fabric • Hand wash cold only. • Wrap any Metal buckles to protect from water splashing into the mechanism, do not submerge metal buckle. • Use mild detergent with nylon scrub brush (rinse brush often to keep from rubbing dirt further into the weave of the bag) • Pull the liner inside out if you have a tarp lined bag and hang on a coat hanger with a fan on it or air dry with all compartments open. • No bleach To Clean Tarpaulin Liners (excluding printed or limited tarp materials like BLKCHRM) • Use a Mr Clean magic eraser or similar cleaning sponge to get the grime off. Test in a hidden area first. • Rise the sponge often so you're not pushing dirt into the fabric. • With a damp cloth wipe away any residue left from the cleaning sponge. • If it's a printed tarp or BLCKCHRM, use a damp cloth with mild detergent. Rinse cloth often while cleaning. For Messenger Bags with Metal Seat Belt Style Buckle *DO NOT USE WD-40 FOR ANY REASON. Periodic cleaning of the mechanism inside your metal buckle is necessary. Answer:	I have purchased two of these bags for my sons. The strap when extended is 60". It is adjustable and works well for both guys. One son is 6' 4" and the other is 5' 8". One reason they love the bags is they are great in rainy weather and keep things dry.

Answer:	There is a compartment in between the inside of the bag, but it is not a sleeve. I understand you can buy one separately. This sleeve attaches to the inside of bag by Velcro straps already included with bag.

Answer:	Not too big. Yo May want to try the regular metro messenger bag.

Answer:	Technically, yes. But not very well. I switched to a different bag when I went from a 13" to a 15" laptop.

Question:	Are all the bags that are ordered set for right-handed people, or is there a way to choose left-handed
Answer:	I own two different Timbuk2 messenger bags. A 2015 and circa late 1990's. Both of my bags can be configured for either right or left hand wear with zero difference in functionality or convenience. My circa 90's Timbuk2 is one of the old Dirt Rag magazine subscription give away versions from that era and I occasionally wore it over either shoulder when bicycling and found it very comfortable either way. I love that bag. Can't think of anything I could possibly give it up or trade it for. I've even used that bag loaded with my scrubs and essentials (I was an RN) folded up inside, retention strap hooked from the shoulder strap to the bags opposite clip for stability and allowing me to keep the bag right where I wanted it in the middle of my lower back while riding my CBR to work on many beautiful Michigan days and nights. So many wonderful, incredible memories! Thanks for allowing me to remember. Anyway, that bags seen a lot, been through a lot. Never a problem and still in great condition! Answer:	That is a medium.
Question:	Just how waterproof is the Carbon Full-Cycle Twill? I would need it to survive a Boston winter
Answer:	it poured yesterday here in NYC and I was walking in the rain about 6 block to my car with no umbrella. The contents in my bag where still dry. It does a good job I would say. I had 10 manilla envelopes in my bag and none were affected by water.
Question:	does the XS bag fit a 13 inch mac book pro
Answer:	No. It will fit easily in the Small, however. Even an 11.6" laptop won't fit in the XS. Just a 10.1" 16:9 screened laptop (which is considerably longer than an iPad, since the iPad is more of a square while most laptops are more of a rectangle). The XS is certainly large enough for EDC with a tablet. The Small is large enough to be a personal item (35" sum of LxWxH) on a flight. The twin buckles and tuck in corners are superb in terms of keeping stuff from sliding out of either bag if you kick in under the seat.

Answer:	No zipped pockets on the inside, just the loose laptop pouch. The only zipped pocket is on the outside right side of the bag.

Answer:	This is a very strong and comfortable backpack, it has a useful mesh to carry helmet or bigger objects. Spacious interior and waterproof. I've put inside a 14in dell laptop with a mac book air and an iPad , plus other things and a bg foldable stroller on the out mesh and be able to transit in airports with no problem.
Question:	What’s the difference between “one size” and 22 L option
Answer:	As far as I know, Chrome only makes this particular backpack in one size. There is a much larger backpack that looks the same, but cost $350. I think these descriptions are just two different descriptions of the same size.
Question:	What size are the side pockets
Answer:	About the same size as a typical front pocket on a pair of jeans. Sorry I can't give a more specific answer. Effectively just large enough to fit a normal-sized wallet in there or to hold your keys but not much else.

Answer:	I use a 15.6" Lenovo T530 and it barely fits in the laptop pocket which is in the back. It might fit in the front pocket under the big flap. Answer:	Coated nylon sounds more like what it is. I find it durable and resistant to water. I am very happy with this bag.

Answer:	I just tested the medium and small with my 2015 retina 15" macbook. Without any kind of sleeve or case the 15" will fit into the small. I have a padded case I put the laptop in and even with that it fits nicely into the medium. With the padded case it will not fit into the small without force. Over two decades ago we made our first Chrome bag with a Juki sewing machine, a few yards of industrial-grade nylon, military grade truck tarpaulin, and the commitment to making durable useful gear that works on and off the bike. We didn’t have money to make a buckle that could hold the weight of a loaded messenger bag, so we salvaged seatbelt buckles out of junkyard cars. An icon was born. Our original messenger bag with its seatbelt buckle quickly became a favorite of professional messengers around the world. More importantly, our way of making things was defined. We call it Freedom through limitations.

Question:	what is the purpose of the strap with magnet clamp
Answer:	It goes around the strap near the laptop sleeve and it is just an added layer of keeping it all together
Question:	will the extra small size fit the new iPad Pro 12.9" comfortably? How tight of a fit is it
Answer:	I have the smaller iPad Pro and it fits like a glove but this may be too small to fit the larger model. Mine fits perfectly and the larger model is much bigger so that leads me to believe it won’t fit. Sorry.
Question:	What differentiates this from the classic messenger bag
Answer:	I had eight Timbuk2 bags. It really would be better to read the descriptions of the bags and look carefully at the bags. Some have just minute differences but those differences can make a big difference. I bought 2 that I would not have bought f I had really paid attention to detail. Fortunately I was able to give one of them to my son, the other just stays in the drawer waiting for me to give it away also.
Question:	Does the small size classic messenger have a laptop sleeve
Answer:	All sizes will have a slip pocket. The XS size would be great for an iPad. The Small is designed for the 13" MacBook/Air/Pro, while the Medium accommodates the 15" version.

Answer:	There is a small zippered compartment on the outside flap. Inner dimensions about 5"x5". There is a zippered compartment on the back of the bag with two zippers that open the whole width of the bag. 16"wide x 10" deep. There is also a zippered compartment on the back wall inside the bag. 10" wide x 6 3/4" deep. In my opinion, this is the best small bag I've ever owned. Looks great. And tough as nails.
Question:	Will 13" laptop fit best into a small or a medium
Answer:	I have the Small and it fits my 2017 MacBook Pro 15" easily. Yes, you read that right, the 15" fits in the small.
