You can fold it in half and carry by these handles (although it's quite long, even halved, so you either need to carry it high or on the shoulder). We used them on two airplanes, and even a small crew closet was big enough to accommodate it folded in half.

Answer:	No, it’s not constructed that way. It’s good for carry on at the airport. A little wobbly if you move too fast . I use this bag often when I travel. It’s very roomy and doesn’t usually push the bag size limits of carry on luggage.

Answer:	I don't know but it is a nice carryon travel bag. I would think that the product description would mention that if it is a feature.

Answer:	It's been awhile since I've flown on Delta, but it can't be much different than Alaska or American. I very much doubt that it would fit. If you put very little in it it would probably squash down enough, but I suspect that it's a bit too long. It fits very well in an overhead bin, but I think it would stick out from under the seat. It's probably the same length as a previous carry-on that I had (I think about 18") and that stuck out a bit. If you don't mind (and the airline personnel don't mind) putting your feet on it it could possibly work.

Answer:	I bought this duffle to store and carry a queen size double high inflatable mattress with built in pump when I go to visit my daughter in Chicago. I would guess it weighs about 30 lbs. It feels very heavy to carry but I have not had any problems with the duffle bag. It is holding up very well.

Some european airlines have much smaller size restrictions. Carry-ons usually have maximum sizes on each side, whereas checked luggage can have differing dimensions but a max running lenth - about 62" on many carriers. In short: look for limitations on your specific airline - and go with the minimum weight and measure for all carriers on the trip. Answer:	I totally checked this bag across intercontinental europe with no issues at all. Among the hectic trips from venice to rome to tuscany to england, the poor thing was massively stuffed and abused and still made the checked trip from usa to europe and back on the checked baggage in addition to all the other abuse noted above. highly recommend, you can't go wrong.
