Answer:	We got ours last year and use it for Captain the Golden Retriever in the lake. The noise maker has never come out. Here we are 9 months later and it still honks and it still floats. After 2 or 3 retrieves we turn it upside down and squeeze any excess water out. We love it more than any other fetch toy and the honking noise is the best ever.
