This day pack has 4 different size compartments: one main compartment, one medium-sized middle compartment and two small front zipped pockets. Inside the main compartment, there are a laptop comparment and a small zippered pouch for small things. These provide roomy space for storage. Most of kids' daily necessities can be loaded, such as laptop,folder,water bottle,notebook,lunch box,extra clothes,etc. Plus, there are 2 mesh side pockets used as water bottle holder. Those different compartments and pockets will help keep children organized.

Question:	I would like to iron on a couple patches. Would this material hold up to heat
Answer:	The material is has a sort of vinyl/plastic feel to it, which is awesome at being waterproof and easy to clean, but not quite a material that I would trust to handle the heat of applying a patch. I'm not exactly an iron expert (Heck, I'm one who tosses my wrinkled clothes in the dryer a few minutes and presto, close to wrinkle-free. Lol!), so I can't give you a for sure answer on that. Just imagine the feel of one of those reusable, insulated lunch bags. That's the closest I can get to giving you an idea of what this backpack material feels like. I hope that helps. *If I wanted to put patches on this backpack, I would just use needle and thread and apply a few hand stitches. :)
Question:	Is it big enough for a 9 year old 4th grader and is the blue light or dark
