Answer:	No. Few backpacks are, if only due to their stitching. If you plan to use it in the rain you should get one of those slip-over backpack rain covers.

Answer:	I have had this backpack for almost a year and use it as a diaper bag for my twins. Where they go, it goes. On an average day it is loaded with clothes, toys, books, wipes, diapers, snacks and any other miscellaneous item my kids "have" to take with them. It gets thrown around, tossed on the floor, dropped in puddles and so much more yet hasn't lost a stitch, gained a tear or frayed in any way. I LOVE this bag and find it incredibly durable.

I still have plenty of room to add a sweatshirt. The pack seems to hold up well to the weight and amount of items.

Answer:	My daughter is 5 as well and in kindergarten big enough for everything she needs. When she wears it looks a little big on her but she manages to carry it just fine.
Question:	why isn’t it charging
Answer:	I’ve been known to wear this backpack a time or two...with about a foot of extra strap. I’d say plenty big enough.

Answer:	The back is not padded but the straps are a little padded.

Answer:	No. I bought it for my 4-year-old neice and it's big enough to hold her lunchbox, homework folder, extra change of clothes, sheet and blanket for daycare and afternoon snacks. Its big but she wears and carries it easily (unless it's too heavy).
