| Answer: | In my opinion, not as the main everyday shoe. Don't get me wrong, these are great shoes! Purchased several pairs for all of my kids. However, they slide on the foot a bit (typically worn without socks). If it's for a special occasion, water or outside day, go for it. But for learning how to walk you really need a stride-rite type of shoe or sandal that is much more fitted & flexible on the sole so they have a proper foundation when learning how to walk. Stride-rite type shoe may not be as cute but would be a better full-time first shoe. |
