I bought the large one for a 10 year old grandson. It fit great and he's a little taller than most of his friends. The side straps are adjustable. I also found after much searching a Taurus Millennium PT-111 Spring Powered Pistol sold by Amazon.com Services, Inc. for $7.99. It had great reviews and I figured his parents could keep the plastic bb's from him and it'd just be a prop for his Halloween costume.
