Only problem was the velcro started to come undone after 1 wear (not even in water). But I just took a needle and thread and fixed it super quickly. And they still served their purpose very well!

Answer:	I have the same dilemma so I bought 2 on either side of the spectrum (the shoes are quite inexpensive for the type it is)--turns out one of them fits right (size 13 toddler which is equivalent to size 1 little kid) and the other one is size 2 little kid, which is a size up from the size 13 toddler. I bought 2 for my son's 2 years ago and my older still wore his size 35 to Church 2 weeks ago now he wears size1.5/2 American shoe. I plan to buy another sets because I love that show.
