Answer:	I got this arm for the Blue Snowball. There are videos out there showing you how to fit the base of the Snowball stand into the shock mount. Though the fitting does not feel natural, with force, it could still fit. The Snowball is pretty heavy and would weigh down the metal piece holding the shock mount if not at the "right spot", at times it would take a couple minutes to adjust the mic to not fall. With that, I had to mount the pop filter on the base piece of the arm to distribute the weight.

Answer:	Yes it's got the adapter to make it the standard 5/8" but most of the studio mounts I've bought also come with the 1/4" to 5/8" adapter so that it will fit either of the two most common mic stand threads.
