I bought this coat for five year old that wears it everyday and it's lined with a snow liner to keep them from getting wet so that they can wear it out in the snow it's got little handcuffs for their hands to keep their hands warm most kids coats are like cheaply made and super puffy and just uncomfortable for the kid but this coat is awesome... He can be out in a downpour for a half hour and come in and be warm and toasty and dry.. has super soft microfiber lining which is really warm. It's just a great coat.

Answer:	I haven't noticed any appreciable shrinkage. I have 4 of these in different colors, and I wash and dry them frequently in warm water and on high heat.
