Answer:	Your 7 year old can wear the 8-10 (after you wash them once) because of the cuff, they will be a little big, but he will grow into them... My 9 year old wear the 8-10 because he is tall and skinny they work, but they will not last another season, they are not long enough to grow into, but just right. On your son they will seam a little long, but be ok because of the cuff and last 2 seasons if he is only 7 etc.
