Answer:	I work on Naval ships and wear steel toe boots from 6:20 am- 4:00 pm. I put these socks on about 4 am and take them off around 6 pm. We move a lot on steel deck plates and around concrete/cement areas. I love these socks. I had to get used to how high they are on my calf but it was well worth it. I highly recommend Thorlo's in general and think these would be a good candidate for you to try.

Answer:	In the summer I have found that these socks hold up better than other socks. My feet aren't horribly gross when I pull my boots off which is a huge difference compared to other socks that my feet come out of my boots wet with my toes stuck to each other. The heels also hold up better when my feet are sweaty instead of wearing down and becoming thin quickly.
