Answer:	According to the write up, it says 3-5 hours to develop, which I assume it will be waterproof. First exfoliate before applying. Apply to clean dry skin. I let the tanner do its job for at least 8 hrs. before showering. You will see some run off of product when showering but your tan will be there. PS I always use mitts to apply.
