Because PUL fabric was originally developed to withstand the intense heat of sanitizing washers and dryers used in hospitals, it will certainly hold up in your home washer and dryer. We do recommend as a best use practice to dry only on low heat and we have done so successfully here for a long period of time with many many washes and drys. That said, drying on a line may increase the lifespan of your nursing pads and in our experience it takes about the same amount of time as a cotton shirt, which is not not too long but depends on your conditions.
