Answer:	For me, the phone is too new to find out how long the battery will function. I can say that I've never had it run down to less than 50% charge in one 24-hour period (I don't shut it off or leave it plugged in overnight; I charge it fully then just leave it on with the screen off overnight so as to not miss any calls). I've had mine 5 months now and it still works as it did when new.

In my case Verizon wireless but I used the phone with att before I got off contract with att as there coverage is terrible in upper Michigan where I primarily use it. I don't know if it works out of country that would be something you need to check with your personal carrier's customer service you have to get out of country plan for the specific country you plan on using it in.
