4 best at t contract cell phones
AT&T offers contract cell phone plans as part of its mobile phone service offerings. These contract plans are a common way for customers to obtain a cell phone and mobile service bundled together under a fixed-term agreement. Here's what you need to know about AT&T contract cell phones:
Service Agreement: When you sign up for an AT&T contract cell phone plan, you enter into a service agreement with the carrier. This agreement typically has a fixed duration, commonly two years, although some plans may offer shorter or longer contract terms.
Device Subsidy: One of the primary benefits of choosing a contract cell phone plan is that AT&T often subsidizes the cost of the cell phone. This means you can get a new or upgraded smartphone at a significantly reduced upfront cost or sometimes even for free, depending on the phone model and your plan.
Monthly Service Fees: In exchange for the subsidized phone, customers commit to paying a monthly service fee for the duration of the contract. These fees cover talk, text, and data services provided by AT&T.
Data Plans: AT&T offers various data plans, allowing customers to choose the amount of data they need each month, ranging from limited data plans to unlimited data plans. These plans cater to different usage patterns and budgets.
Phone Selection: Customers signing up for a contract cell phone plan can typically choose from a selection of smartphones offered by AT&T. The available phone models may vary, and flagship devices from popular manufacturers like Apple and Samsung are often included.
Upgrade Options: Many contract plans offer upgrade options, allowing customers to trade in their current phones for newer models when their contract is eligible for renewal. This can be an attractive feature for those who want to keep up with the latest smartphone technology.
Early Termination Fees: If you wish to terminate your contract before the agreed-upon term is over, AT&T may charge early termination fees. These fees can be substantial, so it's important to understand the terms of the contract and any associated fees before signing up.
Coverage and Network: AT&T is one of the major wireless carriers in the United States and offers extensive network coverage. However, it's essential to check the coverage in your specific area to ensure it meets your needs.
Additional Services: AT&T may offer additional services and features with their contract cell phone plans, such as mobile insurance, international calling options, and mobile hotspot capabilities.
Billing and Payments: Contract cell phone plans typically involve monthly billing cycles, and customers can pay their bills online, through the AT&T app, or by other accepted payment methods.
AT&T contract cell phone plans are a popular choice for individuals and families looking for bundled mobile phone and service options with the added benefit of subsidized device costs. However, it's essential to review the terms of the contract, including monthly fees, data plans, and potential early termination fees, to ensure it aligns with your mobile communication needs and budget.

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this phone work with safelink / tracfone |
Answer: | On the screen yes external no. |
Question: | Does this phone have a do not disturb function, and if it does, can it be used to allow calls from select contacts only |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | does this have last number redial feature |
Answer: | Phone cards or debit |
Question: | Is this compatible with Tello |
Answer: | Yes; however, if she doesn't currently have an account/number with ATT you will need to add a line and get a SIM card from ATT. If she already has a line from another provider, you will need to port that number over from the previous provider. Again, might need to get a new SIM card because the SIM cards aren't always compatible from provider to provider. I got this for my wife who is already on my account. Once the phone was received I simply removed the SIM from the old phone and put it in this one and she was ready to go (except for data transfer from old to new). |
