Answer:	I also had issues activating a US997 version with Verizon. Tried going to a Verizon store, an authorized seller and even calling then directly. Their manual user upgrade system on their site also doesn't seem to work. What worked for me was asking contacting them through the website through the SUPPORT CHAT. There, the person seemed to know what was up, and being able to type up and paste the phone id numbers, and answering account questions and being able to test the phones while still contacting them was a bonus. I was able to activate 2 phones in 20 minutes, as well as make two minor unrelated account changes while I saw I had someone helpful.
Question:	How did you know the phone was factory unlocked vs. t-mobile
Answer:	Mine (which was NOT unlocked and I returned) actually had a T-Mobile logo on the box. The "unlocked" model is US997, and the box I got clearly showed a different model number. When I DID actually get my unlocked phone (from B&H), it clearly said US997 on the box and NO CARRIERS were listed-- only the frequency specs.

Question:	Can you guarantee this will work with AT&T
Answer:	It charges the 2018 i9 MBP just fine unless you have it under a heavy load. Then it does draw down the battery. I don't really see it as an issue under normal use. When I have 2 VMs running as well as FCP editing videos I have seen it go down to around 85% after 3 or 4 hours. But it was back to 100% after a lunch break.

It came to me brand new and in a sealed box with no signs of tampering like with some of the cheaper "carrier locked" versions. LG honored the 2 year warranty after I registered the phone with them. It is factory unlocked for all carriers and it is the US version. Forget what all of the biased youtube reviewers say.
