Answer:	Mine took a dive 35 days after we bought it. It was no longer the sellers problem, so we couldn't send it back. HTC will warranty it If we can get a receipt with the serial number on it to prove it had not been activated before. Haven't got one yet. It has been a pretty big hassle. And then it will be gone for two weeks while being fixed because we have to send it to Texas. We got the incredible 2 because it was what I had previously and loved it and I needed a new phone but didn't want to sign a new contract. In the end I spent twice as much money because I not only had to buy another phone, I ended up signing a contract.

In my case Verizon wireless but I used the phone with att before I got off contract with att as there coverage is terrible in upper Michigan where I primarily use it. I don't know if it works out of country that would be something you need to check with your personal carrier's customer service you have to get out of country plan for the specific country you plan on using it in.
