You simply need to: 1) Turn the combination to the factory default combination of 0000 2) Lift the shackle and turn it 90 degrees counter-clockwise 3) While pressing down on the shackle, turn it another 90 degrees counter-clockwise 4) Set your new combination 5) Return the shackle to the original position and lock it

We don't recommend doing this very much, because the material could lose it's integrity over time, and it would cancel any manufacturer warranty. Its best to wash in a sink, cold warm water, and use Sink Suds to clean the exterior. Then Air Dry.
